Balıkesir University Revolving Fund Enterprise
Balıkesir University Revolving Fund Enterprise was established in accordance with paragraph (a) of Article 58 of the Higher Education Law No. 2547, and within the scope of the Regulations published in the Official Gazette dated May 31, 1999 (No. 23711) and as amended on August 15, 2008 (No. 26968).
The objective of the Balıkesir University Revolving Fund Enterprise is to optimally manage the production or sale of pricable goods and services arising from the University's primary duties. The activities that faculty members may conduct through Faculties, Institutes, Schools, and Centers within the scope of the Revolving Fund Enterprise in areas of university expertise are summarized as follows:
a. Providing scientific opinions, projects, research, and similar services requested by organizations outside of Higher Education Institutions, as well as by real and legal persons;
b. Conducting model experiments, data processing services, tourism management, organization, consultancy, job evaluation, testing, analysis, measurement, experimentation, repair, storage, manufacturing feasibility studies, and similar services;
c. Carrying out all types of printing and publishing services;
d. Organizing seminars, conferences, and panels; opening courses and providing similar services;
e. Producing work, services, live materials, agricultural products, and other goods—limited to the units' fields of activity by utilizing existing physical capacity—and marketing, selling, or opening sales outlets for these products, provided that prior permission is obtained from the Rector;
f. Providing all types of examination, treatment, analysis, surgery, manufacturing, product, maintenance, and similar services within clinics, polyclinics, operating rooms, and laboratories;
g. Operating all established inpatient and outpatient, fixed or temporary facilities and accommodation facilities related to human and animal health services.
